Study content Detecting market trends, developing international communication concepts, aligning pro- ducts to customer needs, creating cost-efficient distribution systems – marketing activities on an international level are complex and must be strategically coordinated so that they have a positive effect on the image, brand value, customer loyalty and thus the success of the company. The master’s degree programme “Marketing Management” is designed to meet the require- ments of marketing managers in the management levels of international corporations and globally active companies. Their task is, among other things, to decide whether to use proven or unconventional strategies. Therefore, in the first semester you will deal with the variety of marketing strategies, the development of marketing concepts as well as special features of industry-specific and digital marketing approaches. The second semester deals with current trends and techniques of content and social media marketing and search engine marketing. Using best practices, you will learn how to develop holistic strategies that meet customer requirements and open up new target groups. It is important to be one step ahead – but it is just as important to consider new develop- ments analytically and to critically question hypes. In the third semester, the focus will therefore be on e-commerce and power pricing. You will discuss current marketing develop- ments, get to know platforms and providers and develop omni-channel strategies.
